Service

“Serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: “Love your neighbour as yourself” (Galatians 5:14)

We take responsibility for how we treat each other, the way we lead our lives, and how we use our talents, rights and opportunities.

What might SERVICE look like in school?

Through our collective worship, relationships and discussion, we use bible stories to provide examples of service and also explicitly give examples of how children can show and recognise examples of service within school, their families, the community and the world. This includes encouraging children to treat one another with kindness. There are opportunities for children to serve their school and community through, for example, helping younger children, charity events, recycling and caring for the natural environment.
