Friendship

“A friend loves at all times”
(Proverbs 17 :17)

We value friendship as fundamental to the development and fulfilment of ourselves and others, and the good of the community.

What might FRIENDSHIP look like in school?

Through our collective worship, relationships and discussion, we use bible stories to provide examples of friendship and also explicitly give examples of how children can show and recognise examples of friendship within school, their families, the community and the world.  This may include showing acts of kindness, sharing games and resources, supervising and taking care of others. True friendship enables each person to grow and ensures that the unique individuality of each person is recognised.
